Hello Beauties,
Here's the part nobody tells you: the sun damage from July doesn't show up in July. It shows up now. Dark spots get darker, texture gets rough, and your glow goes quiet right when the air starts to dry out.
The good news is that fall is the best season of the year to fix it. Here's what to do this week:
- Swap your cleanser. Put the foaming summer cleanser away and switch to a gentle cream or gel. Less humidity means your skin barrier needs backup, not stripping.
- Bring your retinol back. With lower UV, this is the time. Start 2 to 3 nights a week and build from there.
- Go richer on moisture. Look for ceramides and hyaluronic acid, the same way you'd swap tank tops for a sweater.
- Exfoliate on purpose. Once or twice a week, not every day. Over-scrubbing is how rough texture turns into redness.
- Keep the sunscreen. Cooler weather doesn't mean no UV. Louder for the people in the back: don't look out the window without sunscreen.
Fall is peel season, and it's my favorite time of year in the treatment room. Professional-grade peels and HydraFacials go deeper than homecare alone. They lift what summer left behind and set your skin up for the holidays. Every treatment is customized, and you leave with a regimen made for your skin.
If you are interested in a peel series, it's time to start peel prep. Book a peel consultation today and get prepped for a peel series.
