Making Skin Less Boring Since 2015

Reader,

Expensive doesn't mean better

A $200 serum isn't automatically better than a $25 one. Price tells you about marketing and packaging. It tells you almost nothing about results.

Check these four things before you buy anything:

  • The active ingredient: Is there a proven one (vitamin C, retinoid, niacinamide), and where is it on the list?
  • The concentration: Brands that hide percentages usually have something to hide.
  • The packaging: Light and air break down many actives, so look for opaque, airless packaging.
  • The claim: If it promises to "erase" or "reverse" anything, put it back.

Your skin responds to ingredients used consistently. It doesn't respond to a price tag.

Hit reply and tell me one product you're not sure about. I'll tell you straight.

With love and real results,
Donna Kay
